Bids and RFP Requests Town of Chestertown The Town of Chestertown will receive sealed Bids until 12:00 noon on April 16, 2010 for the milling and resurfacing of four streets in the town using Federal stimulus funds (ARRA(. Generally, the streets are High Street from MD 291 to MD 289; College Ave from High Street to CAmpus Avenue; Campus Avenue from College Avenue to Rolling Road and Spring Avenue From High Street to MD 213. The details of the Project, locations, federal standards, and deadline for paving, are found in documents which can be obtained from the Town Hall at 1178 M. Cross St., Chestertown, Md 21620. A prebid meeting will be held for all interested parties on March 29, 2010 at the Town Hall. The meeting will begin Contractors will be expected to show evidence of their ability to perform a project of this size in the time prescribed as well as evidence of liability insurance, Maryland Workman's Compensation insurance and General Risk insurance.
